Blanket Jackson Makes Rare Appearance on What Would Have Been Michael Jackson’s 65th Birthday

Blanket and Prince Jackson have come together to remember their father, the late Michael Jackson, on what would have been his 65th birthday.

Earlier this week, Blanket (formerly known as Blanket) and 26-year-old Prince united for a rare public appearance in Las Vegas. Their aim was to pay tribute to their father’s memory. The siblings were spotted at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where the Michael Jackson ONE show by Cirque du Soleil is currently running.

The well-known brothers greeted fans within the casino. They even shared a picture of Michael with an angel, a gift from a MJ supporter who had fond memories of the global superstar.

According to a statement on Cirque du Soleil’s website, representatives from Michael’s estate participated in a public Q&A session as part of the “Blue Sapphire Birthday Celebration,” an event commemorating the “Human Nature” artist, hosted by Michael’s Estate.

Besides the performance, the cast of the Vegas show has a special schedule, including a private performance by Cirque du Soleil. This event is set to last throughout the night, with the original Michael Jackson ONE creative team meeting and greeting representatives from the Estate of Michael Jackson and Gremly Warner. Attendees who can prove their ticket purchase for either of Tuesday’s shows will also be treated to cake and cupcakes prior to the main event.

Cirque du Soleil’s thrilling Vegas show is described as “part music, part acrobatics,” and promises to be “all amazing.” This statement was made initially in February 2013 and opened to the public several months later. Notably, Michael’s 65th birthday coincides with the 10th anniversary of his Vegas residency.

In a statement, Michael’s friend and choreographer Jamie King expressed, “Everything he does is from the heart, like kids do. For Michael, every day was fresh, every day was new, every day had to be bigger and better than the last, and it should be.” During that time, ONE executives also pledged that the new show would be significantly distinct from its predecessor.

This recent event isn’t the only instance of Jackson’s children paying tribute to their father in a unique manner. Back in August 2018, Paris Jackson, aged 25, and Prince participated in the “Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday Celebration.” This event was held at Mandalay Bay Beach to mark their father’s 60th birthday. At this occasion, they both accepted the Elizabeth Taylor Legacy Award for Humanitarian Service from the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

Legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor was a close friend of Michael and Prince’s godmother. Paris remarked, “I’m able to, you know, hold my father’s hand, through his fans and just seeing people outside of Encino talking about what they’ve been through at our house and remembering their moments with him,” in December 2021, for the global day of AIDS awareness.

Paris further stated, “They’re really lovely people, and they’re good kids,” in 2007, as one of Michael’s former bodyguards described the three children as “well-mannered, well-behaved kids,” and further stated, “Michael Jackson’s Legacy: A Closer Look at His Unwavering Priorities – A Statement from His Publicist”

During Michael’s funeral in 2009, Paris, who was only 11 years old at the time, said, “Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And
